To Learn, You Need To Pay Attention

Why do we think that by doing all the things that golf instruction tells us to do we will naturally hit the sweet spot.

I wonder what the outcome would be if we would have taken the time we spent trying to perfect a good golf swing and put it into studying what correct impact is.

I do not believe that having good mechanics automatically produces good impact, I do not see how good impact can be gotten with a bad golf swing. The golf world has for ever been talking about how golf is all about impact, they were right, so why are we still so caught up on mechanics.
